TO BE INSPIRED BY HIS PROMISES.......I believe......
Take your seat-The Teacher is taking us on a field trip to the PROMISED LAND! We will leave With -OR- Without you!
"Thus says the Lord, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, Do not remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:16, 18-19)
A new day has been given-spoken to be long ago, for our use. How will you use this new day? Start with what you have. We know you can’t start with what you don’t have-we all have been given a full measure of the Gifts of His Spirit. Faith & Trust are to be actively used-not passively talked about with motives of ‘fitting in’.
I believe
Start with what you have. We have been given the charge to stand firmly, using our strength and knowing that we have been outfitted with the armor of the Lord. Oh Lord we Begin the Year With Courage-In Jesus’ name Oh Father Renew our courage for the way.
“Be strong and of good courage ... fear not, nor be dismayed; for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake the.” 1 Chronicles 28:20
“That we should serve in newness of spirit.” Romans 7:6
We need To stop trying to fill up the blank pages that you see-when in fact God has written Much-enough to fill up the pages that direct your steps. What is essential cannot be seen with natural eyes-you must use your Spiritual eyes to follow what has been written for you to follow. The dawn or start of each day is a blank page.
Many people start planning their days-filling in the blank pages of the next day before they go to bed. They awake with all this stuff to do for the day—never asking God what He has already planned for them to do on this day.
Letting go of and starting to avoid the plans that offer outcomes less than what God has planned for you—His best for your best; is the best direction and foundation to stand in. When ‘things’ and people come to work against you—don’t help them accomplish their purposes. God’s Promises are the final authority in any and every situation that you could ever face. If you stepped out on His promises—then you must stand on His promises. When God calls according to His own purpose and will, it is always a call for the good.
I believe Amen.
We have been divinely Called to Obediently stay with the Way that His Spirit leads you in-it’s part of the changing that is necessary to live and walk by faith. He is not going to tell us the details of what we are doing or where we are to go every time He sends us somewhere. We go by faith and trust.
"Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began" 2 Tim. 1:9
I believe
This new day happens to fall on the beginning of a new year for us- as we measure our existence by linear ways. Remember that God is not linear. He has seen all things that will happen for this day. He has seen all things that will happen each day of this New Year.
Knowing this, our community of faith in Jesus, started thanking our righteous Father many days ago for going ahead and standing in the midst of the troubles that await our arrival to their place in our days ahead.
He Is Faithful. Amen.
I believe
He has already gone ahead and His Light, His Grace, His Mercy, His Way All have been poured over all that awaits us. I know that this is how we are able to walk on what other people sink in. His Peace provides. His grace is a comfort and strength.
So when we unknowingly get to the day that the trouble was put to happen—All we have to do is remember that, He IS With us, and that He IS already in the trouble—we take our focus off the trouble that we face and refocus our vision back to Him—we see Him in the middle of all troubles that have passed, that are here today, and the ones that are planned for our future days in this new year. He Is The Good Shepherd.
I believe
Knowing all this, I am content to stay right here in This Day- this new day given to me to use either to fulfill His purposes for me to live through-or-to decide to do things that are aligned with worldly desires. How Will I use this day? I use the things I already have-already possess. I ask for and seek His teaching planned for me to learn-then I seek His purpose for me for This One Day. OH Rabbi, Rabbi!
I believe
We have All that we need for this day-even though we do not actually have many of the resources in our hands to hold, we know that He has provided what we need; AND the day is not over yet either. We know that we have everything we need for this day.
What is His purpose for us today? This is what we should inquire of His Spirit for each day that is given to us.
For me, it does not matter what happens in the world or how it threatens our condition. Getting emotional and fearful is not going to help us change anything that is out of our control.
In this New Year, are we going to react to each new dilemma, limitation, all the hindrances, the disappointments, the narrow and common-place conditions, that come with each unknowing day like a chicken turned loose in a house? Flapping around and squawking, making a whirlwind of a mess in the house. God sees this as what happens when we allow our undisciplined, out-of-control emotions to react to situations and circumstances that are disturbing or frightening.
He will tell us to put the chicken out of the house and then we shall be very deliberate in responding to life's difficulties by allowing the Holy Spirit to bring wisdom, peace, and direction to our day.
Our answer should always be: Yes, Lord!
Psalms 131:2 “Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.”
You get to a point of spiritual maturity of wisdom gained, where you know that worry and being emotional will only hurt the situation more.
We all have to stand together and not be persuaded to do things our own way.
Yes, it is a new year for us-but we still need to face it one day at a time.
Active faith-faith that is put into daily use and is always growing - is a saving grace.
With this knowing that All things are prepared, ready now, that have been promised by God-what is there to fear?
I believe
Let us take all the worlds difficulties, all of our shortcomings, our limitations and the hindrances that await our arrival and meet them as the Master did in Nazareth, with patience, with obedience, putting ourselves in position to stand, serving in our apprenticeship. Who knows what opportunities that God has placed in our paths for this coming year-don’t give up-don’t stop short of the blessings.
I encourage you to live in His Great Spirit, and then we shall be ready for every great occasion that has already been written on the pages of our days to come. No matter what we have been through or what unknowns we are to face in our days ahead--We Must Never Lose Our Praise! Amen!
I believe
Here are the lyrics to an old gospel song. These old songs always have new meaning and strength, to help us get through and over any storm that stands in our path.
“I AM RESOLVED”
I am resolved no longer to linger
Charmed by the world's delight
Things that are higher Things that are nobler
These have allured my sight
I am resolved to go to the Savior
Leaving my sin and strife
He is the true one
He is the just one
He hath the words of life
I am resolved to enter the kingdom
Leaving the paths of sin
Friends may oppose me
Foes may beset me
Still will I enter in
I am resolved and who will go with me?
Come friends without delay
Taught by the Bible Led by the Spirit We'll walk the heavenly way
*******
My friends, let us continue To Have Active Faith and To always continue to Encourage each other daily!
I Believe....Do You?
I couldn't find a video for the song above-but I have included 2 that I feel will continue to inspire you to actively use your faith and trust.
