DAILY PORTION

I pray the Words on this post and blog bless your heart, spirit and soul in the name of Jesus!
Stand Strong And Never Allow people, troubles, situations, circumstances, mistakes, failure or your past, to Have The Power to steal your Joy, your Faith, your Trust or your Hope in our Lord!  These 'things' Can only have the Power if you give it to them.  One good way to Allow them to steal your Daily Portion is by not learning the lessons and continuing to make the same bad choices that keeps you in a 'running in place' cycle.
Remember Through All these 'things' that Are a part of our every day  living, In The Name Of Jesus, God Always Directs us In the Way we should Go, Grow, and Mature! If you are His, then you know His Voice, and if you know His Voice, then when you hear it, you will Do whatever He tells you to do.  "If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands." John 14:13-18
Friends, if you do not know His voice, please go to Him in Prayer and ask for this to be increased in your heart.  In the name of Jesus, He Will make it so for you.
This is the testing of our character, our motives, our faith and trust in our Lord.  He is watching to see if we who praise Him, and call upon Him for help, and Say we love Him, will obey Him by complete faith.  He is showing us Just How Deep our faith and trust in Him is. We also are being given the opportunities that will help us to Spiritually and emotionally grow, and mature.  God reveals to us how we act and react in order to show us the places in our heart and character that are in need of His Changes-in need of More of His Love.
Many do a lot of talking, saying they Love Him, but they will not do even the basic of things For Him.  They just give lip service especially around other people. They really don't believe and they are considered false disciples or believers.
Their fruit gives them away.  Just let a strong wind blow on them, let a few 'issues' pop up, let something happen that touches their life  or just let someone at their work place, home, or school, treat them badly and speak rude to them; they don't act or react much like someone who Claims to Love Jesus so much, nor to have faith and trust in Him either. They don't act like Some one who recognizes Right Away that Going to Jesus for help is what should be done First. Not trying to figure things out on their own, or asking every one else what they think they should do to see if any of them know, which they do not.  They do not Use any of their God Given Daily Portion to glorify God,  if they even use any of it.
Our God Given Daily Portion (Daily Bread) is Filled with More Than Enough of Every Spiritual Gift that we Will need to live through each and every day.  Every day God supplies our Daily Portion to be used to do more for us and for others than we could Ever Imagine.
Inside you will find, in good measure of The Power of  Love, Possibilities, Miracles, Compassion, Forgiveness, Repentance, Self-Control,  Mercy, Grace, Righteousness, Obedience, Expectation, Joy, Hope, Faith, Trust, His Presence, His Guidance, His Teachings, His Correction, His Wisdom, His Knowledge, His Understanding, And so Much More.  All waiting for us to Receive this blessing from our Father and then Proceed to use it All up by the end of the day.
Take a moment, and think back through your day so far today. What kinds of good and/or bad things happened to you?  What kind of Opportunities has God provided to you so far today?  If something didn't go your way, or if you were/are around people that can be mean-spirited, selfish, liars, who follow fear instead of faith, how do they make you act and react?  Did you grab hold of any of the opportunities that God planned & provided for this day?  The Opportunities to praise Him, to speak to Him, to lean on and depend on Him, to grow and mature in Him. The opportunity to strengthen your self-control by not being tempted into opposing His Will for us.
When we Remember On Purpose to thank Him in the Morning and rely on His Holy Spirit to lead us and teach us to wisely use the Spiritual Gifts in your Daily Portion, we are Pleasing to God.  We are showing Love and Appreciation to God for His Love for us.  Jesus is the Way that we are able to be provided with our Daily Portion.  We are Partakers of Everything that our Father has given to Him, He freely gives it all to us.
Our Daily Portion is not just meant to be used to help ourselves, but also to help others He directs us to help.  His opportunities come in ways that many people never see.  Showing Kindness when someone is rude to you. Sharing some of what you have been given when someone is short at the check out line.  Showing compassion by going out of your way to do something for someone.  Thanking our Lord when you don't get in an accident.  Having a Grateful heart for His Watchful Eye for your family and friends, and telling Him.  Praising Him for Always being On time with His Help, and Supply to us.  A humble heart that keeps us teachable and moldable in His hands.
All of these are opportunities God has supplied that when done in the name of Jesus, God gets All the glory and honor.  All of these are acts, the mark of a good character, but they are done in trust and faith in the name of Jesus, unto our God.  He said in Psalm 32:8 that,
"I [the Lord] Will Instruct you And Teach you In The Way you Should go; I Will Counsel you With My eye upon you."
This verse applies to His Wisdom, Not ours! His Eye, Not Ours!
"But as for me, I Will Look To the Lord And Confident in Him I Will Keep Watch; I Will Wait With Hope and Expectancy For the God of my Salvation; my God Will Hear me!"
Micah 7:7
I used to follow my own eye, but I didn't like where I was taking me.
He Is My Portion!

ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH.....

"...According to your faith be it unto you."
Matthew 9:29

Heart Speaks to Heart, as I wait before my Beloved.
Love replenishes Love, as I sit before my Good Lord.
As I sit with Him, I breath in His Divine air, and this Provides Life-giving Joy.
He brought me into This Place of Peace, so I can REST with Him in
His Secret Place.
I do not come asking for anything, and this is where the foundations of my Spiritual being is secure.
The necessary is poured forth as I seek The Beauty to have More of Him.
Kept and secure am I in the Home of Peace and Joy where I come to sit with Him.
Just A Closer Walk With You my Dear Lord....

"You are a hiding place for me; You, Lord, preserve me from trouble, You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!"   Psalm 32:7

Oh Sweet and faithful God, I thank you because You have Kept us!
I rejoice and know He has seen and heard my Faith, for I See His Hand in All the happenings and the Keepings of each day that I Walk and Focus on Him.
He protected His children of the old days, and I Know that I am protected in All things in this day and time. (so are you)

I know He has guided me into a place of His abundant blessings for each day I see the simple Pleasures and Treasure of Living that Can ONLY come From God in the name of Jesus.

All the stages of little successes leading me to the end of each and every completed assignment crowned in Glory for Him.
Accomplishment in His name, He desires for me, and I desire the same.

Going Forth without doubt, but with a clear view of Him through radical Faith I see beyond all that would be a hindrance to me.
Knowing that With each step taken in complete Faith every door shall be opened, and every red sea shall part as long as I keep walking with Him, singing the songs that He has placed into my heart.

"Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses."
  Joshua 1:3

There Are times, when we will get to places in our Spiritual and Emotional growth and maturity, Where it may be hard to see your Way Through and 'Count It All Joy!".
At that same place, or a different space, it may also be hard to see your Way Through and be Hopeful, when you do not see the thing you Prayed on Yet!

You most certainly Are within a Time of Spiritual & natural  New Beginnings for your life.
A Time that God has created for you to Grow, and a Time of Reaping The Harvest of Hard Work.
Be it yours or the hard work that another did, no matter, the Lord is going to provide  the Spiritual and the natural results.
(John 4:35-38)

Trust and Rest in Him Faithfully as His Divine Order Is Beautiful, filling And Always Provides God's Best for you!  Do Whatever He has instructed you to do in Complete Faith.  Please make sure that You Do What Ever He tells you to, When He tells you to do it!

Don't miss His Opportunities!  The 'When' means, that the Time is Right for You To Do that Specific Thing that He is directing you to do by faith.
Obedience to God's Timing is extremely Important for us!

Seek the Lessons, the Corrections, the Directions, while you are Waiting on the Lord.
He Turns Everything meant for bad for us, Into Good and Glory!
And If  'it' is sent by Him, Then It Is Good Already!  In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Either Way, It's a Good Thing To Know that Every Step Is a Blessing and

that there are Blessings with Every Step we Take By Faith in Him!
Count It All Joy!!

I have Learned Not to Lose my Hope, nor my Praise, when I can't see a Way made through...that is when I need my HOPE, FAITH and Much PRAISE to Be Able To See what my Lord has done for me!
His Best Is The Way Made for me to take!  (you too)

At these times God is proving Us to us.  He is showing us that we have Spiritually grown and matured, that we Are able to Pray and Praise our Way through this 'thing'!  He is showing you that He has grown your trust and faith in Him, that your self-control and Obedience has been increased!  Also, at the same time, He is showing us Where we need to Continue to grow and mature.

His Love is Our Truth!
For each day, one day at a time, Let us Fight the Good fight of Faith in our Lord, Expecting that 'What' He has planned for us, And  Accepting 'what ever He allows' to come into our lives, Is Good For Us!

We thank you God in the name of Jesus, for your Faithfulness, and in Your Keeping us! Amen!

"Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you;"

WHAT ARE YOU EXPECTING?

"Their Eyes are Watching God"  - Rhonda Gray

My Heart is Full of Peace, Trust, Faith and a Desire to Praise Him!
I have to Shout out loud that my Lord Is!
He Is the Wind Beneath my wings, He Is the Breath that
strengthens my heart!
I Shall Arise-Mount Up and Yield to the Moving
of His Spirit and Come Up to be with Him
Moving in the Realms of His
Glory--Above And Beyond the earthbound.
He Has Spoken and my Heart Belongs to Him,
His Spirit Moves In me and Through me!
A Wind Walker!
Isaiah 40:31
 each step is a blessing

Greetings to you on this day of Peace filled hearts. Whole Heartedly
I Praise our Lord Jesus for He Is our Very Beloved Friend.
We must learn to Accept what God Allows to come into our lives.
The unexpected to us, Is Always Known to God.

To Expect The Good that He has provided in our Daily Portion,
Is to Have an Attitude of Expectant Faith in Him.
Hopefully, You are Not spending each day, worrying, thinking about
and expecting/awaiting all the next evil stuff to fall on you.
To do so is to waste your Daily Portion which Is
New every day and provided by our Lord to us, every day!
Hopefully, You are spending your daily portion of one day's time,
expecting all the Good that God has provided to each of us
 for This One Day.
There is a measure of Good in our Daily Portion. Good from
Him for us to enjoy, and Good from Him for us to use
 for others in His name.
Our Daily Portion is filled with all the Good of God. His Love,
compassion, long-suffering, wisdom, understanding, forgiveness and
correction, Joy, Peace, honesty, integrity, change, etc...
What we do with our Daily Portion is what God is concerned with.
How are you using them?

There are times when high and rough waters and wind come
into our lives. These conditions are Not The consequences
because of our bad choices and decisions.
We know that those kind of consequences will always come,
because we set things in motion that have to run their course.
Good choices or bad ones, they all have to run their course.
  each step is a blessing
I'm Speaking about the rough and tough, outOftheBlu
circumstances and situations that we Had Nothing to do
with creating or setting into motion.
Both kinds are Allowed by God but for different purposes
 and reasons.
At times, we may feel like the strong winds will blow us
up off the ground and slam us into the deep troubled
waters. With undercurrents that try to pull us down,
tossing us around like a child's ball.
Remember, you are still connected to And are within the
Flow of God's Holy Spirit. Don't Forget this Truth!
each step is a blessing

When we are Holy Spirit-Led, Obeying children of God,
in the name of Jesus we Are going to have to go
through troubled times and waters, He has allowed them to be.
To better us, for now And for what is To come.
Trust, that Our Lord Will carry us Through both the Rough
waters and the Smooth calm water if we Completely
Allow Him too.
There is No reason At all to fear Anything, if you are
walking daily by your Faith In our Lord! He has Already
Put Everything in His Divine Order, and has Ordered
our steps to go where they Need to go.
All we need to focus on Is listening for and allowing
His Spirit to guide us.
If we do Not Fight against the current, or the winds,
and the trouble, He Will Be Able to guide you.
Because you are Full of Peace and Joy, Expecting Him to reveal
to you, All the Ways You need to take!

 each step is a blessing
When walking by Faith trusting the Lord on this journey
in which, we are following Him, Jesus Will Always
lead us down through the valley's, up the hills and
mountains, through the muck and mire, through some stench,
and also, onto paths filled with roses.
Each place that He leads us to and through serves
multiple Spiritual and natural reasons and purposes.

Be alert for the 'what-ifs' and 'whyfors' to try and take
you off course and redirect your focus so that you are
not trusting God anymore. That is our enemy's job, and ours is to
Stay focused on our Lord.
Remember, that You Are trusting Him, Even though you
are looking at mess, trouble, storms or no way
out with your natural eyes. Though withyour Spiritual Eyes,
you See and Know that, It is Well with Your Soul!
I encourage you in the name of Jesus to Endure!
Our circumstances Always have the ability to either weaken us,
or to make us stronger!
The direction we take depends on our reaction. In other words,
it's our choice as to whether we learn from them, or whether we
fight against them and grow into the unteachable.

What are you doing with Your Daily Portion that
God gave you for today?
It's only to be used for today, don't waste any of it by worrying,
fretting or thinking on tomorrow, problems,
and 'stuff' due next month.
Use it Completely for the day it has been given to you for, Today!
He will give some more for tomorrow, when It gets here!
each step is a blessing

17 For our light
affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more
exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
18 while we do not look at the things which are
seen, but at the things which are not seen.
For the things which are
seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are
eternal.

WHAT OUR HEART LOVES

A teachable Heart is a Humble Heart  and one that also pleases our Lord through obedience to His Leading.

A Heart that seeks forgiveness Also Knows to Seek Correction.

For the True Believer, the ability to hear and heed correction Is a Gift provided to us to help us grow and strengthen our hearts that belong to and Love our Lord!
Complete Obedience is Pleasing and Better to our Lord than sacrifice is.  And truly, those that are not Obedient to His leading, aren't going to sacrifice anything He tells them to either...but that is a different teaching that I am working on.

Coming upon this story at the same time I was also studying God's Wisdom added to my understanding, knowledge and provided me with More confirmation, that Correction is Always a Good thing to seek, accept,  learn from And Live By Daily!

*****
On January 28, 1986, the space shuttle Challenger and its crew embarked on a mission to broaden educational horizons and promote the advancement of scientific knowledge. The most outstanding objective of the Challenger 51-L mission was the delivery of educational lessons from space by teacher Christa McAuliffe. A lesson was, indeed, delivered, but not one which anyone expected.
Just 75 seconds after liftoff, tragedy struck. Before a watching world the shuttle suddenly erupted overhead, disintegrating the cabin along with its crew. The debris of metal, blood and bones plummeted to earth, along with our nation's glory.
What had gone wrong?
That was the pressing question everyone asked. As teams of researchers examined the wreckage, the specific cause was soon found. The problem was with the O-rings (circular rubber seals), which had been designed to fit snugly into the joints of the booster engine sections. Evidently, the O-rings had become defective under adverse conditions, and the resulting mechanical failure led to the tragedy. Was that the whole story?
The truth eventually got out. The New York Times put it frankly: the ultimate cause of the space shuttle disaster was pride. A group of top managers failed to listen carefully to the warnings, advice and criticisms given by those down the line who were concerned about the operational reliability of certain parts of the booster engine under conditions of abnormal stress. Just think: heeding criticism could have saved seven human lives
*****

The ability to hear and heed correction or criticism is commended in Scripture, particularly in Proverbs.

Being teachable, able and willing to receive correction, is a mark of the wise, the mature and the obedient  in their Spiritual and natural lives.

Just as God sends correction to us to Be a Help in our Spiritual and Emotional growth and maturity,
we as parents, sisters, brothers, and good friends will Pass on what we learn from God In the name of Jesus to our children, our sisters and brothers and our good friends.

For Iron Sharpens Iron!
"Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend [to show rage or worthy purpose]."  Proverbs 27:17

Many though seem to Feel the need to make excuses, to get defensive, and simply will ignore the Wise corrections and directions sent by the Holy Spirit to them. Their immaturity, pride, ego, and their fears, keep them Unteachable, Unwilling and rebellious to the Love of God.
I HOPE Soon  that those with this type of heart will come to see and accept His Truth And begin to Live His Truth Every day, In the name of Jesus, Amen!

"The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice" (
Prov. 12:15).

"Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice" (
Prov. 13:10).

"A rebuke impresses a man of discernment more than a hundred lashes a fool" (
Prov. 17:10).

Yes the ability to take advice, correction, and rebuke is considered a mark of the wise, But, the inability to hear, receive and allow it to change the heart, is a mark of the fool. Both the wise and the fool reap according to their ability to take criticism:

"He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command is rewarded" (
Prov. 13:13).

"Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning" (
Prov. 9:9).

"He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding"

There is Spiritual and natural treasure to be gained in being able to accept constructive criticism.  David exclaims in
Psalm 141:5: "Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it."
David knows the profit of gaining wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
He knows rebukes are an act of kindness, the result of being blessed, and also a honor as they exhibit God's love for us.

Ask yourself: How do I look at a rebuke?  How do I perceive constructive criticism, correction or counsel? What Is the condition of my heart?

What does your view and reaction to correction say about your time spent  in prayer, Asking God to teach you, to Love you, to help you, to change you, to forgive you And correct you?
Exactly what are you thinking when you pray for Him to do those things in and for you?
He Will present His Truth to you,  (to any of us that seeks His Truth),  to Face, accept and allow His Truth to change your heart, your thinking and your actions. His Love is our Truth.

And please, do not tell yourself that,  'I am only human' and ' I make mistakes'.
What else did you think you to be if not human?

That is an excuse used to be 'let off the hook' of being filled with wrong thinking, foolish ways, a pride and arrogant
filled and unteachable mind and heart.  Saying that,  is a way of Trying to validate being wrong without changing, it's saying you are NOT able to change, When Truth Be Told, You may Not Want to Change!

The point is not that we make mistakes, of course we do, the point is being corrected so NOT to Keep making the Same ones over and over And to hopefully eliminate the making of many new ones.

The character of a Wise person is seen as their Willingness to Receive Correction and constructive Criticism to grow and mature.

(Prov 12:15) "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearketh unto counsel is wise."

Many of the verses in the Book of Proverbs provide a comparison example  Giving wisdom about the fool and the wise person.

The wise person recognizes her/his fallibility And desires to grow from the correction God will provide.  The wise person does Not want to stay the same negative, needy, wrong hearted person.  Truly the wise person does not want to be displeasing to God, but wants to be continually changed by our Lord in order to be used and to continue for Each Day, to Fulfill the Will, the Plans, and the Purposes of God for their life In the name of Jesus.  In order to do that, one Must seek and accept correction from the Holy Spirit through what ever way or who ever God has chosen to send this correction through.

Many times there will be resistance to hearing and /or accepting constructive criticism and correction by many people we are sent to be a Help To. No matter how much love and grace that we speak from, they will try to find fault with the tone you spoke with, the words you said, All in All, God's Truth Cuts Deeply into our flesh and convicts. Just AS It is suppose to do. It is Not a time to take anything personal, or to allow yourself to be offended by the words and actions of these fool hearted people.

Truth be Told and known…it isn't that what we said was harsh or mean, so much as they were being foolish hearing through pride and ego.

And the same holds True for us when we do not want to hear God's truth about some part of our heart that is need of His correction.

Many of us at different times do not want to Face the Truth about an issue, a problem, a set of circumstances, our hearts, our ways and our thinking.  In order to Hear the Truth, and to accept it, we Must Face What it has come to Repair/Correct in us...And too many people do Not want to 'deal with that just now'!

For we Already Know, that the way of the fool seems right to her/him….it is right in her/his own eyes.

Again, another foolish decision to make as God's Timing Is Never Wrong!  And when God's Timing says,  it Is Time to deal with something--IT'S TIME TO DEAL WITH IT!  Do Not miss out On His opportunity to do what you need to do!

( Prov 13:10) "Only by pride comes contention: but with the well advised is wisdom."

Pride Always results in contention or quarrels. It will always try to tear down what God is building. Pride does Not want the Peacemaker to speak and provide 'A Word from our Lord'.
The second half of the verse tells us that there is wisdom in the well advised person.

  What's the point?
The wise person avoids quarreling. Standing her/his ground in God's assignment, delivering the message, and whether it is received or not, will not tempt the Wise person to argue.  The Wise person does not waste their Daily Portion of energy or time, but allows More of God's Love, compassion, long-suffering and self-control to pour out from them.  Making Good use of their Daily Portions provided new each and every day.

The person who wisely receives counsel, and uses her/his energy to listen, to learn, and to work at Allowing God's  changes to be established and take root, will be in a position to be Greatly Used by God, they are Teachable.

On the other hand, if the person who because of pride and presumption pours their time and energy into quarreling, being defensive, fighting, pouting, etc. Then this person is bound to continue to make the wrong decisions and bad choices over and over and over again.  Which will ensure that they stay caught in a loop of living the negative consequences of their bad choices and wrong decisions.
This person's motives and the condition of their heart will grow bitter, angry, pitiful, and revengeful.

A good question for all of us to ask ourselves daily is, which one am I more like?

(
Prov 17:10) "A reproof enters more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool."

The wise man listens quickly and carefully.

A willingness to receive criticism is a mark of the wise.

The Wise and the Fool Reap According to their Ability to Receive Criticism.

(
Prov 13:13) "Whoso despises the word shall be destroyed: but he that fears the commandment shall be rewarded.   A Fools pay for rejecting criticism, wise persons are rewarded for receiving it."

Prov 13:13 (Amp) "Whoever despises the word and counsel [of God] brings destruction upon himself, but he who [reverently] fears and respects the commandment [of God] is rewarded."
