Today is a SNOWDAAAAAYYYY!!
LOL
Our girls are EX-CI-TED!
It is just beautiful, there is nothing like snow that is thick, deep, and unblemished.
This is sorta a big deal for us. We are in NC along I-85 not far from the Va line-but also about 35-45 mintues from our state capital.
It does not snow as much as it did when I was a younger.
And things pretty much shut down here for us or are delayed. It is not always a given that we will get snow every year.
Here are a few pictures that we took a few hours after the sun came up.

One little bird stayed long enough for me to get this photo. Put some feed out for them. It became like a bird buffet! lol I really wanted to get one of the cardinal his redness is explosive against the vast whiteness!I'll get the shot before the day is past.
