I Just Can't Wait To Begin To Worship Him, To Begin To Praise Him, To Begin To Thank Him; For What He Has Done For Me! (Easter is April 8th - the 12th)

Colossians 3:2-3 (Amp Bible)
2And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.
3For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God

We Are Free!

We are free from the bondage of man.

We are free from the bondage of sin.

We are no longer defeated.

We are no longer scorned.

We are no longer cast down.

Isaiah 64:8 Amp
"Yet, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our Potter, and we all are the work of Your hand."

This Journey....
Every person is on a Journey, but not every one is going toward the same Ending. Some are on a journey led by 'sight', and others are on a Journey led by the Spirit of God.

Richard Smallwood & Kim Burwell "JOURNEY"

Twinkie Clark & FAMU choir-"Feed my Sheep"

"1THE WORD which came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

2 Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.

3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and behold, he was working at the wheel.

4 And the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he made it over, reworking it into another vessel as it seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me:

6 O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does? says the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel."

The Journey of the Spirit Led people; Oh, To Be Made into vessels that bring honor to the Potter! Yes my Lord!
Let us All remember to = Be Still And Let God Be God-Wait On The Lord, And allow Patience to have Her Perfect Work in us. Amen!
After the Potter makes the clay into the desired vessels and pots, they are put in a safe, protected place to air dry. (more waiting)-
They are now called greenware and this is a picture showing some that are waiting to be put into the kiln for firing. By doing this several changes occur.
One is that all impurities are burned completly out. Two, any of the greenware that has hair-line cracks or air bubbles in them or cracks that may be within the walls of the vessel, will make the greewnware break apart sometimes it actually explodes-and cannot be used at all.
(sometimes people do not make it out of the fire-they have to return to the storage container-recycled- that holds the clay that is not ready to be used yet.)
And going through the kiln/refiner's fire strengthens the greenware so that it is durable and able to withstand human use of it.
(just change 'human use' to Used By God)
After they are put through the fire they change in texture, color, strength, and purpose.
Then the Potter allows them to cool, (more waiting).
Then the Potter takes the ceramic pieces from the kiln and checks them for cracks or any other impurities.
Then he prepares them for the glazing process. (more waiting).
This is when each piece recieves color. (more waiting).
After the color-glaze- is applied and has dried, it goes back into the kiln for re-firing to bake the glaze into the vessel.(more waiting)

A few details have been left out-but this is the process of us being clay in the Potters hands And allowing Him to re-makes us into the person that He created us to be.
It is a process that goes one day at a time.

WE'VE COME TOO FAR- The Hawkins Family Richard Smallwod

Are You determined to make this Journey All The Way?
Is Your mind made up?

“Be STILL!, And Know that I AM GOD; I Will Be Exalted Among the nations, I Will Be Exalted In The Earth!” Psalms 46:10

God Will Keep me In Perfect Peace, Because my mind Is Stayed On Jesus, Because I Trust In Jesus! Amen!
(inspired by Isa. 26:3)

As I draw nearer to God, He draws nearer to me! James 4:8

I have been busy these past few weeks, preparing my grandparents house so it can be rented out at the end of the month. They were married for 55 years.
A sister friend and her daughter are going to rent it. All of this was done by God’s hand for her, me and my mother.

It has been ‘a chore’ for me to let go of-(allow the changes necessary to happen)- what I have known for my almost 47 years of life. My grandmother was a elementary school teacher for 30 years, and my grandfather was a Minister and he was a High School Principal for 37 ½ years. He turned a tobacco curing barn that was provided by this county to be a school to teach the black children in, (a union school), - there was only him and 3 black women teachers-they taught first thru twelfth grades – they turned that dirt floor, no heat, no bathroom curing barn into a thriving 900 student, brick building which is still used in this county's school system, as a middle school. The school was named for him long before he died.

When he first got to the school/barn, the students rode to school on the bus (that he purchased), with yard tools so they could
‘by hand’ clear the land that was donated by a black family that lived next to the land the county owned. There is so much more to tell about my grandparents lives-and I am considering a post sometime in the near future dedicated to them.

My grandfather died in Jan. of 1990 (he was 83 yrs old) and my grandmother died in May of 2005, (she was 93 yrs old) and her house has sat just as it was when she left to go back Home to Our Father. We live in another house/cottage/bungalow- in her backyard that my grandfather had built when I was a young child.
I lived with them during my high school years - After I completed my undergrad degree at Hampton Institute, I moved back with them around the mid 1980’s to attend/complete what is called Teachers College at a local university in a nearby city. There I received my NC teachers certification and Lic.

I Loved my grandparents! I Miss them So Much! It was like they were still alive in a way because i kept the house just as it was when my grandmother died. It will be four years come May 2009.
Packing up their things and giving some of them away saddens my heart-Letting Go of them is a hard thing to do-but I know it has to be done. And I live within God's Timing-not my own.
I know they are in Our Father's House Enjoying His Presences All the time. No more pain, no more worries, and no more troubles. Seeing All of their family and friends (that made it into Heaven).
They have done so much for me and my brothers which helped my mother out. I have always been very grateful for them and to God as it has always been God who provided for them- so they were able to provide for us.
Thank You Jesus!

I worked as an art teacher in the public schools here and I took care of my grandmother after my grandfather died. Though her mind was crisp and sharp, her health began to really decline after I had my little girl in 1997. I took care of her till the day she died and it was not always easy as I was also a new mother raising my own daughter –(who I found out has special needs).
As my grandmother’s health declined And my mother began to have health issues; I would call on Jesus Often-it was not impossible as God was always with me to help me. There is a bit more to speak on concerning those years, a few more hardships, some confusion, some demons coming after me at my job as a teacher, working through my emotional, physical, and Spiritual issues, and needs; but Here I am today—I’m Still Here! I Made it through ALL that because Jesus Is my Portion. Amen!

And Now, almost four years after her death, here we are cleaning out her house in order to rent it out. And that is another story as our houses are connected via the water line, and are on the same acreage, the washer and dryer are in her basement, our dogs are in the back yard, and we store much of our ‘stuff’ there also. So the person who rents had to be someone that we can get along with and who can live with us going in and out of the home as we need to.
So, beloved and I prayed and God answered our prayers and our sister friend (who is also our sister in Christ-she spends a great deal of time here with us anyway), she is tired of apartment living and living in the next city over, so one day she spoke that out and i said, well, i'm sure my mom could use the monthly income--long story short--She's moving in at the end of this month! Hallelujah!

16And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness into light before them and make uneven places into a plain. These things I have determined to do [for them]; and I will not leave them forsaken.
17They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, who trust in graven images, who say to molten images, You are our gods.
18Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, that you may see! Isaiah 42:16-18
I could not move much out or give anything away during these past 4 years since she died. But now, the time has come to let the past go and allow the transitions, the changes, the re-shaping of my life to Gracefully flow into its God Appointed place.

Going through all the memories that come to mind as I am Parting with items, furniture and clothing that I grew up seeing all the time-Packing up all the photographs and books-Moving all of their things out of the house or into the basement to keep. Giving away much of it that neither I nor any other family members want.
Cleaning out the garage, the carport, the closets, and the kitchen items; I saw all this stuff when she was alive—but I tell you—they had a lot of things!

Having the repairs and upgrades done that are needed, (new toilets, roof work, ceiling repair from the leak, servicing the heating furnace and finding out there is water in the underground oil tank that has to be drained out, then draining the water out of the furnace, having a cleaning lady, (a former student of mine), come in and do her work. Whew! Re-organizing! Changes!
Stretching! Changes! Pressing-Acceptance=Spiritual and Emotional GROWTH!

It has been a very busy last few weeks and everything is not finished yet-though we have made Much progress and have only a little left to complete. The physical labor and the emotional and Spiritual labor Will All be well worth it in the end. I am expecting God to Surprise us! Amen!

I asked God to show me how to grow into the deepness of the portions that He has provided to me (which He gives to all that He Calls), and He has done so.
"And whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered and saved, for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the remnant [of survivors] shall be those whom the Lord calls." Joel 2:32

It’s just that sometimes many things that you think you know-you really do not. And much of what we know will not help us in many situations and circumstances that we have to face—We Need God’s Way to turn everything around for our Good and for His Glory through us!

I never knew just how deep and rich His portions are, And I'm Glad to be learning how deep my portion is concerning Every Gift tha e hs put into me.
"[Roaring] deep calls to [roaring] deep at the thunder of Your waterspouts; all Your breakers and Your rolling waves have gone over me." Psalms 42:7

My beloved and I have moved through a great breakthrough concerning our relationship together. I love the way God honors relationships that Keep Him in the Center of them. Amen!

To learn how to love each other as He loves us, takes work and a little time, but mostly it takes both people to be willing and teachable. Both people have to Want to Grow and be changed-
re-shaped into Who He created us to be. Both as individuals and as a couple. It Is A Process.

To be able to let go of what you thought you wanted for your life based on worldly standards and to take hold of what God says is necessary for your life by His standards, is not impossible to do; And really does not take any longer than the people are willing to accept.

We may not always know why, how or when it is to be done, but as long as we fully obey and trust by faith that God is God He Will surprise those that Wait on Him!

Be Still I say, And Wait on the LORD!

I may get tired, I may get frustrated, and irritated, but I never give up! I must go deeper in order to go higher with The Lord of my life! Amen!

Romans 12:16 says “Be of the same mind toward one another, Do Not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do Not be Wise in your own opinion!”

I asked God my father in the name of Jesus, to reveal to me everything that He has put into me that I do not know I have And show me how and when to use it all. I asked Him to change me into the woman that He created me to be. On both, He began His Work the moment I finished the prayers. The re-building, the re-shaping, the changes and transitions all began with that prayer back in March of 2002.

Now I had no idea what would happen or how-when i asked Him for all this. Being that what I thought with my little thoughts (LOL) compared to what all He has done and is doing it is Nothing like I have ever experienced as He governs my life! As I give attention to His earth changing its seasons from winter into spring, I also see my life changing from a winter to a spring! Amen.
Though i speak "I"- All this is for your life also.

It is Imperative that i neither live in the past by dwelling on past events that are unsettling or negative, or by trying to live in the future by focusing my attention on the days to come and ‘what’ they may or may not bring. I have no room in my heart for any fears! He takes up every space.

The past, in which ‘I’ told myself what I wanted to be and to be doing by a certain age-And in which ‘I’ told myself where I wanted to be and should be ‘by now’=is gone! I Want More Than That! More than what ‘I’ am able to conceive of or think that I can make happen!

To Let Go of All past desires, wants, needs and actual happenings that were based on the world’s standards is what I had to do. This is what anybody has to do if they are Following Jesus as their Lord.

To Go through His refiner’s Fire as metal filled with impurities and come out as metal purer than any other, to go into the press as a grape and come out as juice, to go into His Presence and come out filled with what He needs to pour out of me for others; is what I have been doing And Will Continue to do because, His changing me into the woman He created me to be is a process.

To stay an active listener, to actively use my trust and faith in Jesus everyday-growing deeper in my Portion—to hold on to And expect All Ways to be made-All promises to be delivered on-All His truths and prophecies to be made manifest for my life—Is what it means to Wait On The LORD!

We Are told to Wait on THE Lord, for His divine opportunities await our arrival. I do not plan to disappoint Him!

To keep my attention focused on what I am facing at this moment – for this one day is all that He asks us to do. I have asked for a deeper Wisdom, a deeper Understanding from the Father, And Even though I know He is re-shaping me And that is a Good thing- sometimes I feel as though I’m in a taffy pulling machine; I know this is the Way He knows best-And I Wait on The Lord.
Stretched into a new shape!
I have received everything that I need to know and deal with my current position so that I can see and be the best that He declared me to be. I have not gotten to the mark and sometimes I fall short-but I will not give in nor give up this Life of living by His Spirit!

I Will Not allow the birds to out praise me! Amen!

I completely Refuse to live within and by disappointments, regrets or some dried up fantasies all that is from the standard of the world—living by sight and flesh. A waste of my precious time and vitality!

I have released myself from All rejection, in order to fully grow deeper in His Love, His Will, and His Purposes for my life.
I focus on the Lord’s guidance and direction for my life that can only be seen and known because I quiet myself my mind and my emotions so that I am able to Seek His Righteousness.
I Am Being Still And I Know that He Is My God! Jesus Is my Portion!

I encourage all of you Not to allow Anything to Dilute your faith!

Lord God, In Jesus Name,
"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer." Psalm 19:14

Lord God, In Jesus' Name, I pray that all who read these words spoken through me that they will be Divinely blessed, increased, and will be filled with Your never ending Living Waters. I praise Your Holy Name, Amen.

The Spirit of the Lord directed me to study Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verse 10. As I listened I was given the message below. May it fill your heart with His love, direction and comfort. May the Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding of our Father God in the name of Jesus bestow on you all that His teachings were made to give.

With each step that I take Following Jesus, may I never forget to reach back and me with the Right Heart, help another. In Jesus's Name, Amen.

NIV- “If one falls down, his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!”

RKJV- “For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.”

AMP- “For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow.
But woe to him who is alone when
he falls and has not another to lift him up!”

The Lord created us to live in Spiritual and natural community and engage in caring relationships with one another. If your friend is in natural need, and if you can help—With the Right Heart DO SO! LET the LORD work through you in a powerful and effective Way! Amen!

The Lord Will Bless the helper (you) abundantly Whose motives are the same as His are! I don't want to mislead you into thinking that there is a list of 'things to do to get Blessed by God." That is a lie from satan.
Some believe that they can go about doing 'good works' for God that God never told them to do, and keep a list in their head to rattle off with pride. Those Works will not make it through God's Refiners Fire. These people choose the 'things and ways' to help others- things to sacrifice that are going to be rejected by God because they are of the flesh, they are not worthy to give to God.
Or, the person is trying to give to God what already Belongs to God as in the account of Cain and Abel.
There is no such Truth for doing with wrong motives, the wrong heart- And think that your 'works' will be pleaseing to the Father. With the Right Heart, a Heart that is living to please God through obedience and being teachable, one that has His Spirit living within it and has been changed Will be of great use to God.
Does this happen overnight?
Yes for some and no for others.
Either way, the Journey to re-learning who the new you is, will be done one day at a time, diligently, with faith and trust with each day and each step. How bad do you want to be changed?
By willingly giving help in whatever way help is needed, you Will receive help when you are in need. You are putting your faith and trust in the Storehouse of God!

There are people that you know of in need of help right now—Must they have to Come and Ask you for this help? Give them a call and let them know that you are coming in the Name of Jesus to give them the help they are in need of.

Don’t worry about how much you have, or how your helping them will lessen what you have-God Will restore to you as He is Using you to help the one in need. (Cast your Bread into the Waters), And Yes, most times those that you help will not be able to pay you back right away—that should not be your main concern.

Lord God, thank You Jesus!

God said give mercy, grace And compassion to all that you know need it—it will be returned to you when you NEED it! Amen.

Don’t be selfish and self-centered, only concerned with only your life. That way of thinking and living will not be rewarded.

We are Not to hoard our blessings, gifts, and anointings, or our time.
We are to give willingly and freely the things that God has given us. All that you have was Given to you from the Hand of God.
Fear Will keep you from your blessings!

If you cannot give physical help-Then Pray in the name of Jesus, for God to step into that friend’s situation and Turn It Around! To step into the Center of the issue and take it over—to turn around all bad, evil works into His Good for your friend! AMEN!

God gives us an example of the outcome of this truth as described in Ecclesiastes 4:10, which gives us a picture of someone who has "fallen and can't get up."

Should any of us falter from our faith, or from following The Way or have unexpected needs, a friend can come along to lend a hand. But when a person lives not with God, or is still struggling with being fully dependent on Jesus- they will be too "independent" to need help or to help anybody else, he or she quickly discovers no one is there when trouble comes.

As you help others, that His Spirit leads you to help without fears or hesitation, then your path will be made smooth and straight. The weapons that are formed against you, the fiery darts that satan throws at you will be extinguished before you even saw a glimpse of them coming! Amen!

He protects us from what we did not EVEN know was sent to take us out! Think about that and Give our Father God some GOOD Praise!!! AMEN!

My friends, We need one another. Our LORD Jesus taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves (see Matthew 19:19).

Love for one another is not some shallow ‘sound good’ word—or a passive feeling, but an efficient, and effective example of God’s Love that lives in us and Works through us. Glory be to God!

Do not do for others and give to others always expecting a return. That means, don't start out talking about "Well what do i get -- well what about me?

Allow the Lord God to pour out of you what He has put into your heart. The mouth speaks what the heart loves!

We are to be a response to a need expressed, through us as "compassion in action."

Think about this, Where would you be-what would your life look like today if no one had come to help you? I HOPE that you know you have not come this far by your own power.

Pray for your friends, and help your friends in any natural And Spiritual Way that they are in need of; and when you need prayer, and natural help, God Will provide it all to you through those servants who completely obey Him when He sends them to help! Lord Jesus, I just Got To Praise YOU! Lord thank YOU, thank YOU, thank YOU!

I am reminded that the Lord has been speaking to me about the season that we are within. A season that Will require us to be filled with integrity and to be good stewards. The Lord continued to speak to me that He is bringing us into a time when He Will reveal to us all areas in our lives where we are wasting our time, our money, our gifts, talents, efforts and abilities. He Will show those of us that are willing, and teachable how to be efficient stewards of what He has provided to us and what we have been given to do. The Work of The Lord!.

Psalm 1:1-3

BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.

2But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.

3And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

"Find a needy person and enrich him - a lonely person and include him - a misunderstood person and affirm him - an undiscovered person and develop him - a failing person and restore him. .."

Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know God will come to know God because they know you. -Unknown

Joshua 1:9

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

My Lord, we have done all that we were told to do by You, Now we will Wait, Joyfully, Praising You Lord for You Will complete what You have begun in us And for us! Glory be to You Lord God through our lives for Your Honor, In the name of Jesus, Amen.

The Lord God Will Turn every evil thing around for Good to us!

There are many times in which we do exactly what the Lord has spoken to us to do. And sometimes the way people respond, will try to trip you up to think that maybe you should not have done that.
Do any of you know what I’m talking about? I know that you do.

You will hear satan suggesting to your flesh ‘that you made a big mistake—you need to go back and ‘take that back’ what God sent you to do.’

And you may begin to try and second guess what the Spirit of the Lord directed you to do.

Put it in His Fire and let us see what is able to come out, when you try to begin to second guess what His Spirit directed you to do and or say. Anything that has attached itself to your given task, your work, and your steps that is not of God will be burned off once you put it in His Refiners Fire.

And, Wisdom will speak to you saying, ‘oh no, you did right in obeying the Lords directions. Pay their actions and words no mind and keep on standing in His Standard given to you.'

Being emotionally charged in these times, will not profit you nor will you be able to move forward. Remembering that you live within a Higher Standard, with a Higher perspective will enable you to look through the eyes of the Spirit instead of looking through the eyes of the flesh; and will free you from any and all of the enemy’s suggestions thrown at you.

I am reminded of the story in Acts (Acts 16:16-33), where Paul, Slias and the others are walking to the place of prayer, and a slave woman begins to follow them shouting out who they are. After a few days of this, Paul became annoyed with her actions and turned and rebuked the demon spirits out of her, and she stopped.
The enemy is announcing what God is doing? Nothing Good will come of that. How can evil be good? There is always an underlying motive to evil attempting to appear good. The sprits that lived within this young woman were also calling out to other evil spirits, alerting them as to who the men of God were.

Her owners became extremely upset with them and ordered them arrested and tried in a court for taking away their wicked way to get profit. And the account goes on to say that they were tried, beaten and then thrown into jail.

All because Paul used his authority given to him by Jesus and spoke the evil spirits out of the woman, actually giving her freedom. (And that is another lesson).

They did what was right in the eyes of God and by the direction of the Holy Spirit.
And sure enough, satan manipulated the people to come against Paul, Silas and the others.

So, they were in jail, and the account says, that around midnight they began to pray and give praise to the Lord God and He turned it all around for them, an earthquake occurred, the shackles fell off their legs and the doors to the cell jumped flung open. And they were freed—But they did not leave right away.

When the jailer saw that the cell door was open and saw the empty shackles on the ground, he was about to commit suicide, but Paul stopped him from doing so and The men of God ended up bringing the man to Jesus as the jailer asked what he needed to do to be saved.

Standing in the Standard provided by God-Even when the crowd around you is threatening you – you still stand and God will turn it all around to be good for you. Amen.

There is more to the account and I have provided a link so that you will be able to read it all for yourself. May the Spirit of the Lord bless you with Wisdom And Knowledge as you read/study His Account, in Jesus’ name, amen.

But my point now is that God will turn it All around that is evil and make it come out Good for you-especially when you have done right by Him. Amen.

This is when your Faith and Trust in the Lord, Will keep you secure and keep you on your feet. Because we walk uprightly we walk securely.

Proverb 10:9 "He who walks uprightly walks securely, but he who takes a crooked way shall be found out and punished."

As we walk by faith and trusting in the Lord Jesus, there will come times when we face injustices, barriers, troubles, and blocks in our way. We cannot flinch! We live by the Standard set by the Lord, not by the worlds standards.

Keep God in the center of everything concerning your life. That includes your relationships, your job and the work of your job, your travels, your sitting down and getting up, your family, your finances, your home life. Everything that concerns your life and that of your house hold.

Speak out to the Lord to put all of these barriers that He did not create and the troubles, to put them in His Refiners’ Fire; and let us see what is burned off and what makes it through His Fire.
What is not of God will not make it through the Fire. With Joy do we go about our days completing the Work- the tasks given to us by the Lord. And His Joy always bears Good Fruit!

We all know that life has its dangers, troubles and difficulties. And as real as they may seem to us—the moment that we see in the dangers and difficulties any power of evil—we are to Stand and reveal our full faith in God—face to face we stand within the Standard of God and the enemy within the standards of the world.

This show of faith in response to what evil has created will force in Some Way the trouble and difficulties to be Turned Around for our Good! In the moment where you stand and reveal your show of faith in God; evil, and its danger and difficulties cease to have any power over you!

This wonderful Truth must have the power of belief and rejoicing in it! So Rejoice I say in the name of Jesus – move further into the Power of believing so that you will become more than a believer –you will become an Overcomer!

The Lord tells us to Put it All in the Fire and what comes out will be the Fruit of Joy! We cannot second guess what the Spirit of the Lord tells us. Those who are not just convinced but are fully converted, determined and who have Faith even when God does not send a sign; are the ones who walk securely in the name of Jesus. We carry His Standard everywhere we go.

We know that His Ways And His Thinking are higher than ours and all we have to do is Wait, trusting In Faith, knowing that He has already taken care of the situation at hand.

To take life as a task—we move step by step in this task and practice until we can do it to His level of expectation. For us to be perfect in God’s eyes is to obey completely. This is helped through Wisdom, Patience and with Harmony of Soul and with our Resting in His Deepness when all is done that we can do.

On the quietest of day and even in the lowest of way, He send us mighty opportunities that allow us to serve the King of King’s.

We are to Welcome with Joy what He speaks to us to do, not resenting these divine opportunities to serve and honor Him. There is no task too small, to low, or too large that we should even consider rejecting it by natural sight. For it Is in the weakest person that God steps in to show how Strong and Powerful He Is.
When you are weak, lacking, and not knowing, STOP, get out of the way and Let The Lord Move In and Turn Everything Around that is bad to Good for you. For your personal life And for the Work that you do for Him.
Don’t look at a task through eyes of flesh and emotional standards—But through the eyes of the Spirit and the Lord’s Standards.
Proverbs 17:24a “Wisdom is in the sight of him who has understanding.”

Let us remember that in Proverbs 10:2 we are told;"Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) delivers from death."

And in verse 6 He says: "Blessings are upon the head of the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence."

and also in verse 9 & 11;
"9He who walks uprightly walks securely, but he who takes a crooked way shall be found out and punished."
"11The mouth of the [uncompromisingly] righteous man is a well of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence."

Remember that the humble way of Christ is always with us. He Will speak, “well done, good and faithful servant.” Not to the greatest of the earth, but to the humble bearer of pain and annoyance. To the workers who are patient and diligent in life’s ways of service.

The Fruit of Joy is our harvest!
Thank You Lord God for my steps that you put into Divine Order. Amen.

Let the Truth Be Told.

God is so great- He gives us the sight to see And know right from wrong, and leaves the choice with us to make--Who Are We Going To Serve!

Many people do not understand, or either have not been taught correctly about, or really have never heard of, Or just do not care enough about the processes involved in How Jesus changes us once we are saved, filled with His Spirit and we begin to carry our crosses and to deny ourselves.

They stay too caught up in the many earthly issues-- skin color issues, gender issues, class issues, race issues, lgbt/straight issues, obtaining power issues, money issues, and of course the ever present, “I gotta have/ I need that no matter what” issues.

And if you stay in line with these people, you will lose yourself in works governed by emotions and flesh that do not further the building of His Kingdom.

Stand back and look at what the people around you place value in. Stuff or God? Are stuff, titles, and status valued higher than people and obeying God’s will in their lives? Is it like that for you?

I’m not saying that all those topics and others are not important-but let us look at the truth about the issues.

How do you really see God in your life? How do you really see Jesus and His Holy Spirit in your life?

How do you really see yourself?

Does God want us fighting each other over ‘things’ and differences that He created? Does He really want us to place a high value on the people, and things that He blesses us with over His place in our lives?

Isn’t that going the opposite way from What His Will and Purpose is for us all?

And many people really do not know What God has said, or what He wants from us, as they have only ‘joined in’ with groups of others who sound like they know what they are talking about. Their motives for fighting against changes and differences are based on what someone else said. They have never read the Bible for themselves, or, they are following old laws and ignoring the Law of The Spirit set in place by Jesus.

They are not obeying God—they are obeying people.

A large part of Working for Jesus is learning and using Spiritual discernment. Many times, I have to sit back and listen to see if people are coming in the name of church—or are they Coming in the name of Jesus. As many people are able to talk the talk—but when you look at their lives, their walk does not equal their talk.

God tells us His will And His truth in Galatians 6:7-8
“7Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked [a]by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and [b]that only is what he will reap.
8For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.”

And again in Psalms 62:11-12

“11God has spoken once, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God.
12Also to You, O Lord, belong mercy and loving-kindness, for You render to every man according to his work.”

Let the Truth Be Told
For many believers And followers of Jesus, who have not grown deeply in His love and changes for their lives; it is easy to trust Him, to have faith in Him, to follow Him, when there is no sickness around, when there is enough money to pay the bills, to make repairs, and have fun.

It is easy When your children are not under verbal or physical attacks from mean children, whose parents are not raising them but allowing them to Just grow up-it's easy when your children are not verbally or physically attacking other children because you are not being the parent they need but focusing on yourself.

It is easy to believe when they have a job that is not in jeopardy of being taken away.

It is easy to follow Jesus when they think that all they have to do is go to church once or twice a week, give some cash to the plate, sound like they fully trust God, and look like they are doing better than most.

To maybe sit on a committee or two, to give some old clothes and canned foods to the church to distribute to those that do not have and are not able to provide for themselves, the daily necessities needed.

And they believe they have done what is required to honor and glorify God through their lives.

They always want to speak a list of what they have done to help God’s people. They think that is all there is to this Living for and With Jesus.
They live on the surface of God. They do not know of the depth that He is.

You know folks like that?

They are quick to say, ‘I know God, I believe. I already know that, I already do that or I’ve done that.’ I think to myself when I hear them= Uh-huh, sure you do-sure you have.

I have learned that I am not here to help everyone I cross paths with. But I am to learn from everyone I cross paths with.

To tell the whole truth, they are sadly wrong on many points. They have both stopped learning, and growing because they received a little Word and Knowledge about God or they are just plain old fakers and liars. They do not want to learn nor do they want to really help God’s people past the feel good part of Working for Jesus.

They have never been taken to the very edge where the visible path cannot be seen anymore. They have not willingly gone into the fire or stayed in the fire having been put there by God to burn off the dross and shallowness of flesh. To burn off the ego, the self part of us that we think knows everything there is to know.
They have not ventured past their comfort zones.

They do not really know what it means to suffer for His namesake! Lord Have Mercy!

They really may not even have a relationship with God through Jesus—and if they do, truth be told, it does not seem to be so the way their talk does not equal their walk.

It is easy when they do not obey God and walk the walk.
We are given many opportunities to see God in His fullness—working for us and through us. There are many times where we will be standing on the very edge of a visible path and there is nothing that we can do to repair, to correct, to fix the situation. We have to rely and depend on God in the name of Jesus.

You get to a point of growth in His Love where you Know that it is not by power, but by the Spirit of God that will move us through the barriers and the troubles that face us. He Always Has A Plan-He just does not always roll it out in details for us everytime.

Truth be told, God has spoken this Truth about His Will and His Spirit in Zechariah 4:6.
6Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts.

We had nothing to do with the creation of anything of God. Who are we to say that we can fix something or change someone? We did not make the tree grow seeds to replenish it year after year. We did not make the water stay at the edge of the land. We cannot bring life from death or touch the hearts of people and soften them to our side. We have done none of these, Nor can we do anything today by mere human power—trying to force something to happen that belongs to the Power of His Holy Spirit.
And by His Spirit are we able to move through barriers, through oppositions, through trickery and manipulations, to get to the other side of a thing. Yes Lord, Thank You!

It is by the Spirit of God that we live and move in Him that helps us in All that we believe and trust Him to do for us, and through us. Anything else is foolish thinking and will lead to self destruction. To place such a high value on things, and stuff, status, physical looks and fame, on money, on pleasing people—to make any and all of these your god is to live a life of trickery and manipulation.

Busi-ness=Running in place and going nowhere—but wanting to convince people that you are working for God-that you are living the life of a true believer and follower of Jesus.

God will create situations and circumstances in your life When you have to stand and use your voice-your presence to speak the Truth even when you stand alone and to do, is to live with integrity. To face yourself and tell yourself the Truth, that only God can help you is living a humbled, integrity filled life. A Spirit Filled Life.

To Pray for and/or take up for others that are too weak to speak up, to weak and unlearned to take up for themselves in the midst of trickery, sickness, and any other lacking truth; to stand against the crowd of hate filled hearts and those that oppose Gods Will in your life knowing that the crowd may and can turn against you, is to live for and with Jesus by His Power.

To Boldly, without shame, to obey God when He sends you To speak up and tell a friend the Truth about themselves or a situation concerning them is to carry your cross and follow Jesus, all the while knowing that this friend may run from what you say, or become cross at you for not agreeing with the lies they want to be their truth.

To be God's servant and vessel is to go where He sends you without question or hesitation-it to do what He tells you to do without question and hesitation-to Allow His Spirit to Speak His Truth Through you without fear is to live for and with Jesus—to carry your cross—to suffer for His namesake.

To do all this without knowing what the details are, not knowing where the next step will place us, not knowing what our speaking His messages will lead those that hear them to do. To not force anything, but to Wait and Expect Him to come and take care of us- is to show Him how much we love Him.

Let the Truth Be Told in the name of Jesus!

Are you coming in the name of Jesus,
or the name of church-i-ness?

So many people want instant results to their problems and want their mistakes to disappear without any repercussions, without dealing with the consequences of making these mistakes—they don’t want to learn and grow. They do not live for the Truth-but for the appearance of the Truth. That is not the same thing.

These same people run from Gods directions and Work but yet, they want to be involved in His Work so badly for appearance sake, that they group themselves with the wrong people—with the wrong motives. They choose ‘work’-what they see others doing- and say it is God’s work, when in fact that is not true.

Are you trying to help some people that God did not send you to help? Be careful about your motives.

Be careful about what and who you are making god in your life.

Trouble loves trouble. We all know that saying, misery loves company.

We have to watch out for traps that the enemy sets to draw us, lure us into the predicaments of others when we have no responsibility or desire from God to be involved. When you are living for and with Jesus-you are under the authority of His Spirit-His Will; and only when His Spirit gives you the unction to speak or act do we do so.
We have to be aware and be careful of getting tangled up in situations where we have no Godly reason, no legitimate authority to take any actions at all.

If you ask, He will give us discernment (and strengthen our discernment) to know the limits of our involvement-And we have to choose to stay within the confines and safety of our own boundaries set by Him.
We must continue to eliminate ‘self’ as we Walk with Jesus on this Journey. Those that are not serious will fall away either by their own fears and doubts, or because God is separating them from us. Either way, let them go!

To seek His Truth daily, about you and for your life can only be accomplished by the power of His Holy Spirit. The help of the Lord is our strength, our guide, our example, our secret place of safety. To spend time and study His life, to live IN His presence-to Worship Him-to Praise Him, to Obey Him is the fruit of a true believer And follower of Him.

He always honors and rewards complete obedience to His Will and Purpose. Having faith that does not falter, even small faith is love to Him.

As you stand on the very edge of the visible path, do you Trust God to Act Now on your behalf?

Do you have the faith that so many before us not just had, but actively lived?

Just think about how the lives of Moses, Joshua, Ruth, Hannah, Debra, Jeremiah, and Tabitha (Dorcas) would have turned out had they not had the faith and belief in God. They knew the Truth then, that Only God could and would help them, And Help them He did- every time! Amen!

Let us learn from the examples that Jesus lived and taught to us, and from all the others that learned from Him And in turn lived; let us Pray the faith filled prayers, give the faithful and Joy filled praises, Then let us Wait And Expect our Father to Come See About us, as we stand at the very edge of the visible path.
Don’t draw back because of doubts and fears after coming so far with Him—don’t stop and give up.

Do you not realize just How Close you Are to breaking through the barriers set in place to trap and stop you, to crossing a bridge that He builds where there is no land, to walking through a door that He created out of nowhere?

Do you know how many people stopped short; they just quit God not knowing they were just a few more steps from entering into Answered Prayers? God said to them He is with them, but they walked away thinking the price was too much to pay.

Are you going to add to the numbers of those that almost made it, or are you going to add to God’s numbers of His faithful and trusting servants?

Let The Truth Be Told in Jesus’ name, Amen.

One Day At A Time By Faith.
Joshua 1:9

Wednesday, March 4, 2009

God's love cannot be explained --it can only be experienced.

Every day we are called to be a people that walks in integrity. To rise up a standard and to set a standard of righteousness under the authority of God’s Will.

It is not always an ‘easy’ task to move through the messes and cons, to move through the lust and hate filled hearts of some people.
But do so we must.
Many times we find ourselves in a place
Just as Moses did-Just as Joshua did - standing at the waters edge, no way to cross, not being able to turn around-no way on our own power or thoughts to get to the other side. We must do as both of them did; and by his faith and trust in God-he spoke prayers and praise unto the Father for absolute help.

God is responsive to the prayer of faith. He Is always ready and willing to make a path through any Red Sea that we face today. Just as He did for them, He Will do for those of us that have any size faith in Him.

To stand against all that tries to undermine and stands opposed His Will for our lives and for His master plans concerning all life, is our charge.

He knows who to call on-He knows which ones of us will stand (even alone) against all that is trying to tear down our faith, our trust, and our spiritual growth. And His sheep Hear His voice and rise to the sound of it.

As the environment weakens And shifts to adjust to the changes at hand in order to restore herself, as the government weakens and adjusts to the changes at hand in order to restore itself to strength; as the material stuff that many have put their trust in falls away not able to make it through the fires of God, as peoples faith in their fame, in their status among others- as all of this falls and is burnt in His refiners’ fire, God raises up a standard to be followed.

He has joined together the people that are not governed by mans opinion of them, not governed by arguments over petty things, not governed or worried about the natural order of things—not governed by the falling of what man has built through the heart of greed and selfishness. Not concerned with impressing or pleasing people through emotional and fleshy ways; but an army of His people that will do the great and powerful Work that He has spoken for this day.

We do not sit and ask -what is Your Will God- more than Once. We know that once the question has been asked-then the answer will come. And we will know what His divine Will is for us on this day as soon as we focus on Him and not every issue that may surround us, not on every situation, not on any set of circumstances, But As we move step by step He Will reveal His Will for us.

What is God’s Will so many ask. He has already told us what His Will is for each of us. But I know what people mean when they ask that question. They want evidence, they want a direct set of options, they want to see and know what to do before hand – to know where they are going before He sends. They want to know when is He going to make something happen, when is He going to make them happy, and take away all that troubles them.
That is not the way He works.

There is much work for each of us to do—and when we have done everything that we are humanly capable of doing concerning everything—Continuing on by Faith and Trust in Him, then will we see what His whole plan was from the beginning concerning us.

What I have learned is, Whatever He says to do—we do. In agreement with His Spirit, and using all the gifts of the Spirit and all the tools He has provided us—We Obey! That is His Will.

That we do it all with Joy, with Thanksgiving, and keeping our focus on Him and not the trouble, not the barriers, not the blocked paths, not on the hate filled hearts of people-but on Him and Him alone.

There will be many times when we are standing, facing the Very Edge of our visible path. Now is the time to know that all you need is already in you And He will provide Everything else that you need to keep taking the steps, one at a time for this day, moving, living in His Will for your life.

In times of trickery and treachery, we are to hold onto His hand—His mighty right hand. Yes it is easy to speak these words, and harder to trust in Him-but it Is not impossible. How bad do you want Him completely in your life? Then you will do as He speaks to you. You will allow Him the Freedom to re-organize your thinking, your heart your entire life-the good and the bad into the person He created you to be. For His namesake—not ours.
It is not always going to be smooth—He has to teach us by example.

He uses what troubles us to heal us and teach us to trust in Him totally. Many problems will not ‘go away’ just like that. He will use many of them to shape us into who were created to be in the first place.

Here at the Very Edge of the Visible Path- there will be times that the Lord will challenge our hearts offering His strength to carry us through to a point where integrity is the only valued commodity. Using us to be far-reaching influences and a predictor of what is to come. He is stretching us to be more than we can imagine.

At these times when opposition toward His Will tries to steal the years of work that you have done, when it tries to steal the Peace and Joy that has grown deep roots in your heart and spirit—for such a time as this has He allowed to fall upon many of us—this is the time to trust Him even more than we thought possible, to use our faith pulling from down deep within us--we had no idea was there and to Stand and Hold His Hand knowing that He is showing us the Way He has prepared for our safety and movement to cross as we stand At the Very Edge!

He steps in as our Shield around us—Salvation is what we need—and He always provides – He Becomes what we need.

Psalm 3:1-4; Psalm 18:16-19; Psalm 16:8; Psalm 118:15-16

Draw near to Him little children--His voice calls to those that can hear. And daily we obey. It is our choice to make and keep.

He reminds us that daily contact with Him is vital to our lives and Work. This is the cure for all that ails us. Think of it this way. How do you think your child would feel if you limited daily contact with them to only once a week, or a small amount of time each day?

I know our daughters would be sad, frustrated, confused, and probably will begin to do things by their own thinking which will end up with them making a big mess out of things and possibly getting hurt or death.
We should not do that with our Father-as He would never do that with us. Our daughters come to us all the time to give kisses, give hugs, to say hey whatchdoing? Just to check in with us. And we do the same with them.

It’s about Relationship—not religion.

A lot of people need to face the truth about their lives. But not facing the truth staying in teh sadness, the hurt, the pain is easier to them. It will take work to stop stop romanticizing their lives, stop rationalizing their mistakes and Listen to the Truth. They always say, "I don't want to hear that now, I don't want to talk about that now."

Forgiveness is what needs to be done. Forgiveness is A place start to move into the truth about who they are as God sees them and has made them to be.

God honors all relationships that hold Him in the center of them. He gives us relationships to better us, to better the other people, to be loving and to increase our well being. To honor and glorify Him through our relationships with each other. Amen.

Our heart, soul and our Spirit longs to be with God. We need to have daily contact with Him in order to be at Peace, to be comforted, to have direction and to be supplied all that we need. To know what we need to do for this day.

He does not withhold His love and affection in order to control us. That is something that people do and it is sick, self-serving and mean, and any parent, any spouse, any partner, and any lover that does so is really a sick hearted person. Manipulating what Love really is to serve their self-serving motives.

We don’t like it when people do it to us, nor should we feel good about doing this to others.

Do not withhold your love for Him, from Him—only going to Him to love Him once a week, or a few short times a day or only when things are going wrong in your life will not increase or heal you. It will keep you further from His love. His love never changes or diminishes--we have to learn to trust Him and have faith in Him then will we feel adn know His Love in it's Wholeness and Holiness. Amen.

Think of how often He must say, If only they would sup with me, sit with me, just talk with me, ask me what I think and how I think they should do this and that--I can and will help them, if only they would seek Me and ask Me-I will.

Do you see other people’s happiness as a threat instead of a blessing?

As we stand here at the Very Edge of what is visible to our eyes, He listen for our faithful, faith filled prayer to Him. He speaks to us, are you listening?

God's love cannot be explained --it can only be experienced.

6Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
Philippians 4:6

9My soul yearns for You [O Lord] in the night, yes, my spirit within me seeks You earnestly; for [only] when Your judgments are in the earth will the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God).

Our girls are EX-CI-TED!
It is just beautiful, there is nothing like snow that is thick, deep, and unblemished.

This is sorta a big deal for us. We are in NC along I-85 not far from the Va line-but also about 35-45 mintues from our state capital.

It does not snow as much as it did when I was a younger.

And things pretty much shut down here for us or are delayed. It is not always a given that we will get snow every year.

Here are a few pictures that we took a few hours after the sun came up.

From the end of the driveway.

Matthew on the left and Rocky-Boy on the right-wanting some LOVE!

View of part of front yard-from teh side of the house--neighbors house is behind me.

the road is somewhere near the trees.

Backyard near the dogs pen.

The dogs playing and wanting some more LOVE!

One little bird stayed long enough for me to get this photo. Put some feed out for them. It became like a bird buffet! lol I really wanted to get one of the cardinal his redness is explosive against the vast whiteness!
I'll get the shot before the day is past.

From our front porch. We are in the backyard of the brick house in previous pics. Behind the dog pen. Just to give you an idea.

This is the front to our home. The photos look black and white on color film, until you see that blue pool. And the yellow of the house.

From the steps looking at the snow covered jeeps in the driveway.

Another view with more of the field and trees.
